"The Grieg Code" on Norwegian festivals this summer

May 31th is the premiere date of Geir Lysnes latest work "The Grieg Code at "NattJazz" in Bergen. June 16th performs the ensemble as the main act on "Sandvika Big Band Festival" and August 15th is the ensemble one of the headliners at "Oslo Jazz festival".

’The Grieg Code’ is a brand new work written by Geir Lysne for a big jazz ensemble. The work is a musical experiment where Lysne has been asked to compose new music, based on Grieg originals. The project was initiated by ’The International Grieg Society’ and ’Grieg07’.
